4 Amazing Exercises To Build Your Lats

The Best Exercises To Build Lateral & Upper Back Muscles

It is very important to have a strong back in order to maintain a healthy posture. The lat muscles are the most important muscles in the back and they can be strengthened by doing these exercises.

1) Lat Pulldowns: This is an exercise where you grip the barbell with both hands and pull it down to your chest, while keeping your elbows close to your torso. You should use a weight that you can handle without too much strain. This exercise will focus on strengthening your lat muscles, as well as improving shoulder stability and posture.

2) Dumbbell Rows: This is an exercise where you lay on your stomach on an incline bench with one arm holding a dumbbell in each hand. You then lift the weights up towards the side of your chest, keeping your back flat throughout

What is the Best Type of Exercise for Bigger Lats?

The two most important exercises for building up your lats are pull ups and barbell rows.

Pull ups and barbell rows both work the latissimus dorsi muscles and recruit a lot of muscle fibers.

They also both target the upper back, which is the primary area that people want to build up when they train their lats.

The main difference between these two exercises is that pull ups hit the lats from a more horizontal angle than barbell rows, which hit them from a more vertical angle.

This means that pull ups will emphasize your lower lats more than barbell rows, while barbell rows will emphasize your upper lats more than pull ups.
